In short: your knitting projects, patterns and notes live on your own devices and in your own private iCloud. There is no Knittle account and no Knittle server holding your work. The free version shows ads (through Google AdMob) and we use a little standard diagnostic analytics. Both are described below, and Premium removes the ads.
Knittle is an iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch application published by an independent developer. This page describes what data the app touches, why, and what your rights are. It applies to the Knittle app and the website at knittle.app.
The app collects only a limited set of diagnostic signals, through standard Apple and Google services:
Knittle does not have a user account system. As a consequence, the app does not collect:
Everything you create inside Knittle, projects, counters, sessions, photos, attached patterns and notes, is stored in your own private iCloud (CloudKit) under your Apple ID. That lets your data sync between your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch automatically. We do not have access to your private iCloud. We do not run any Knittle account system. If you turn off iCloud for Knittle, the data simply stays local on the device, with no copy on our side.

Knittle is suitable for all ages, but is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
